Brian Kupchella

Brian Kupchella is Chief Executive Officer of Clarience Technologies, a role he has held since 2016.
Clarience Technologies is a global leader of visibility, safety and digital technologies for transportation. Under Kupchella’s leadership, the company has grown from a single company brand, Truck-Lite LLC, to today representing over 27 premium brands, each with a long track record of innovation and success.
Since being in this position, Kupchella strategically achieved growth by leading the integration efforts of six PE-backed firms into the business. This investment over the years has allowed Kupchella to expand the product range into various diverse markets and deliver all-new products for their customers.
Prior to his current role, Kupchella was President and Chief Operating Officer of Truck-Lite, LLC, the original company in the Clarience Technologies portfolio. Prior to that role, he held several positions over 26 years at Truck-Lite, LLC, including engineering leadership, product management and business development.
Kupchella received a Bachelor of Science degree in plastics engineering technology from Penn State Erie, The Behrend College, and an MBA from Gannon University. He is a member of the Penn State Behrend Council of Fellows, member of the Penn State Advisory Board and an Alumni Fellow.
