Industry Veteran Mitch Williams joins RIGID Industries as New President

Williams joins RIGID Industries with a proven track record of driving growth and building high-performing teams over a nearly 40-year career. Most of his experience comes from holding leadership positions at component manufacturers that serve the automotive aftermarket, especially in automotive lighting. Williams spent the first nineteen years of his career at Hella, Inc., ascending to the role of President and CEO of its North American business where he helped establish the company’s reputation as a leading automotive lighting brand in North America. In the years since, Williams has served as the top executive at several other automotive suppliers, including Pilot Automotive, Corinthian Textiles, Dinan Engineering, Restoration Parts Unlimited, and StopTech Performance Brake Systems. He holds his Bachelor of Arts from Emory University.

Williams has earned the respect of the automotive aftermarket industry over the course of his career having been elected to and later serving as the Chairman of the Specialty Equipment Market Association (SEMA) board of directors and was named SEMA Person of the Year in 2001. He is also a lifelong off-road enthusiast, having provided technical and corporate support for many different off-road races and race teams. He has run both the Baja 1000 and the Rubicon Trail along with several pilgrimages to Moab.
