Manager, Pricing Analytics and Strategic Development


The Manager – Pricing Analytics and Strategic Initiatives will lead the development of data-driven pricing strategies and oversee strategic projects that drive revenue growth and margin improvement. This role combines advanced analytics with business acumen to deliver actionable insights and implement transformative initiatives across the organization. The position reports directly to the Director of Pricing. 

Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement pricing strategies aligned with business objectives and market dynamics 
  • Identify and execute opportunities for strategic pricing transformation across business units 
  • Drive strategic initiatives that support revenue growth, margin improvement, and pricing innovation 
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to senior leadership for decision-making 
  • Partner with sales, finance, and product teams to optimize pricing models 
  • Lead advanced pricing analytics, including elasticity modeling, margin optimization, and competitive benchmarking 
  • Develop dashboards and reporting tools to monitor pricing performance and profitability 
  • Manage a team of analysts and foster a data-driven culture 
  • Lead cross-functional projects focused on process improvement and automation in pricing workflows 
  • Ensure pricing policies adhere to legal, regulatory, and ethical standards 
  • Maintain documentation and audit trails for pricing decisions 

Education & Experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or related field 
  • Preferred: Master’s degree (MBA or MS in Analytics/Data Science) 
  • 8–10 years in pricing, revenue management, or business analytics 
  • Advanced analytics tools (SQL, Python/R, Power BI/Tableau) 
  • Proficient communicator possessing facilitative leadership skills capable of collaborating across various business sectors, geographical locations, and cultural backgrounds. 
  • Ability to lead through influence and effectively communicate with stakeholders at the executive level. 
  • Demonstrated history of overseeing cross-functional strategic projects 
  • Strong understanding of market dynamics, competitive analysis, and financial modeling
