Logistics Coordinator


JOB SUMMARY

The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for coordinating and executing outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery in accordance with customer requirements, routing instructions, and internal standards. This role supports efficient shipment processing, documentation, and carrier coordination while maintaining strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external logistics partners.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions

  • Enter and maintain accurate shipment data across customer and third-party platforms.
  • Prepare and distribute shipping documentation required for order processing, manifesting, and carrier movement.
  • Coordinate shipment scheduling with carriers, customers, and third-party logistics providers to meet delivery and compliance requirements.
  • Review order and inventory information to create, modify, or cancel shipments based on availability and business needs.
  • Support shipping operations by providing necessary documentation and order details to ensure accurate manifesting, invoicing, and on-time shipment execution.
  • Manifest daily Less Than Truckload (LTL) shipments and ensure all required documentation is complete and accurate.
  • Maintain working knowledge of domestic and international shipping standards and apply requirements to all shipments and documentation.
  • Prepare accurate international shipping documentation as required.
  • Provide shipment information and documentation support to internal stakeholders.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to follow established processes with minimal supervision
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
  • Sound judgment and ability to build effective working relationships

Preferred

  • Experience with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Experience with LTL shipping, manifesting, or scheduling
  • Experience coordinating with third-party logistics providers
  • Knowledge of international shipping regulations and documentation

While performing job duties, the team member is regularly required to stand and use hands to handle materials and equipment. The role may include occasional walking, reaching, bending, and lifting. The team member must be able to lift and move up to 30 pounds.
