JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Track and trace shipments across all modes of transportation
  • Process claims across all modes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies
  • Assist with expedite requests as needed
  • Conduct analysis and compile statistics to support logistics decision-making
  • Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues
  • Support negotiations with carriers to secure favorable terms and rates, optimizing cost efficiency and service quality
  • Assist in optimizing delivery routes to reduce transportation time and costs
  • Explore consolidation opportunities to optimize shipping and reduce costs
  • Assist with compliance and record retention programs
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance requirements and best practices
  • Process daily documentation for customs clearance request requirements
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate records for all import/export transactions and related documentation
  • Liaise with government agencies, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade operations
  • Keep current on industry trends and alert the businesses of possible challenges when they arise
  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Management including ocean, drayage and customs brokerage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

Logistics Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Oversee small parcel logistics, with eventual responsibility for managing this area
  • Generate and analyze Reveel reports to monitor small parcel logistics performance targets
  • Conduct analysis and compile statistics to support logistics decision-making
  • Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues
  • Develop and implement training procedures for the maintenance of carrier information in JDE and BOSS systems
  • Assist in managing LTL and truckload carrier relationships, ensuring adherence to business unit SOPs, KPI setting and monitoring, and conducting customer business reviews
  • Update LTL carrier assignments and create new carriers within JDE and BOSS systems, where applicable
  • Support negotiations with carriers to secure favorable terms and rates, optimizing cost efficiency and service quality
  • Assist in optimizing delivery routes to reduce transportation time and costs
  • Maintain a working knowledge of TMS functionality through training and information sharing
  • GL code weekly freight charges for accounting remittances
  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Management including 3PL, LTL, TL
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel

International Trade Compliance Manager

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Creation of compliance manual and training program
  • Develops and implements record retention program with audit plan
  • Oversee outsourced relationships with compliance companies and brokers
  • Develop and implement comprehensive trade compliance policies and procedures, including managing continuous bonds for all IORs, overseeing the classification of goods and ensuring compliance with regulations
  • Ensure completion of annual qualification solicitation, handle exclusions and drawback processes
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with domestic and international trade regulations, including export control laws, customs regulations, and trade sanctions
  • Conduct regular audits and assessments of import/export activities to identify and address compliance issues
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance requirements and best practices
  • Liaise with government agencies, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade operations
  • Stay updated on changes in international trade laws and regulations and communicate relevant updates to the organization
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate potential compliance risks
  • Handle and resolve any trade compliance-related inquiries or disputes
  • Manage a logistics analyst in support of logistics activities
  • Provide guidance and consultation to business units on cross-border shipments, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations and customs requirements
  • Facilitate smooth and efficient movement of goods across borders by working closely with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and other logistics partners
  • Monitor and track cross-border shipments to ensure timely delivery and resolve any issues that may arise during transit
  • Maintain accurate documentation for cross-border shipments, including import/export declarations, invoices, and certificates of origin
  • Oversee and manage cross border and ocean freight operations, including negotiating rates with carriers, performance management and compliance
  • Coordinate with shipping lines, port authorities, and other stakeholders to ensure efficient loading and unloading of cargo
  • Monitor ocean freight costs and optimize shipping routes to achieve cost savings and improve delivery times
  • Leverage data to identify consolidation opportunities and other efficiencies 
  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in international trade compliance or a similar role
  • In-depth knowledge of international trade regulations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
  • Licensed customs broker preferred
  • Ability to travel 25%
