Logistics Analyst - International


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Track and trace shipments across all modes of transportation
  • Process claims across all modes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies
  • Assist with expedite requests as needed
  • Conduct analysis and compile statistics to support logistics decision-making
  • Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues
  • Support negotiations with carriers to secure favorable terms and rates, optimizing cost efficiency and service quality
  • Assist in optimizing delivery routes to reduce transportation time and costs
  • Explore consolidation opportunities to optimize shipping and reduce costs
  • Assist with compliance and record retention programs
  • Provide guidance and training to internal teams on trade compliance requirements and best practices
  • Process daily documentation for customs clearance request requirements
  • Assist in the maintenance of accurate records for all import/export transactions and related documentation
  • Liaise with government agencies, customs brokers, and other stakeholders to facilitate smooth trade operations
  • Keep current on industry trends and alert the businesses of possible challenges when they arise
  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Management including ocean, drayage and customs brokerage.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
