Logistics Analyst


JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Track and trace shipments across all modes of transportation
  • Process claims across all modes, ensuring timely resolution and adherence to company policies
  • Assist with expedite requests as needed and manage the tracking and approval process
  • Oversee small parcel logistics, with eventual responsibility for managing this area
  • Generate and analyze Reveel reports to monitor small parcel logistics performance targets
  • Conduct analysis and compile statistics to support logistics decision-making
  • Provide regular exception reporting to highlight and address logistics issues
  • Develop and implement training procedures for the maintenance of carrier information in JDE and BOSS systems
  • Assist in managing LTL and truckload carrier relationships, ensuring adherence to business unit SOPs, KPI setting and monitoring, and conducting customer business reviews
  • Update LTL carrier assignments and create new carriers within JDE and BOSS systems, where applicable
  • Support negotiations with carriers to secure favorable terms and rates, optimizing cost efficiency and service quality
  • Assist in optimizing delivery routes to reduce transportation time and costs
  • Maintain a working knowledge of TMS functionality through training and information sharing
  • GL code weekly freight charges for accounting remittances
  • Additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree desired in supply chain or related field, or equivalent working experience
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in Logistics Management including 3PL, LTL, TL
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
