Junior Cyber-Security Analyst

JOB DESCRIPTION:

• Safeguard our organization's information systems from potential cyber threats.  
• Work closely with the cybersecurity team to review vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement remediation strategies.  

Education Requirements:

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Cybersecurity, or a related field. 
• Strong academic performance with coursework relevant to cybersecurity concepts and principles. 

Experience Requirements:

• Basic understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals through coursework, personal projects, or relevant internships. 
• Familiarity with common security tools and technologies such as SIEM systems, antivirus software, firewalls, and intrusion detection/prevention systems is beneficial. 
• Knowledge of networking protocols, operating systems, and cloud computing environments is a plus. 
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a passion for learning about cybersecurity. 
• Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. 
• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. 
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in the field of cybersecurity.
