Financial Analyst


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for providing analytical support for a global purchasing project and other data initiatives and financial analysis across the organization.

  • Project Responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
    • Tracking and validating realized cost savings
    • Data analysis to support regular program reviews
    • Review and reconciliation of general ledger data
    • Support post program data management
  • Other core responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
    • Analyze financial data and create financial models for decision support
    • Report on financial performance and prepare for regular financial reviews
    • Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
    • Work closely with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial reporting
    • Evaluate financial performance by comparing and analyzing actual results with budgets and forecasts
    • Increasing productivity by developing automated reporting tools
    • Working with various ERP software systems, consolidation, data mining and reporting tools
    • Supports consolidation of monthly financials
    • Supports administration of Financial systems
    • Supports ad-hoc reporting assignments as directed

EDUCATION REQUIREMENT(S):

  • BS/BA Degree in Finance/Accounting, or related field required

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT(S):

  • 2 to 4 years of relevant Finance/Audit or Public Accounting Experience preferred
  • Knowledge of ERP business management software packages (i.e. JD Edwards)
  • Knowledge of consolidation tools (i.e. Oracle EPM Cloud, Hyperion FM), SmartView, Power BI and advanced Excel skills including modeling
  • Experience assisting with annual budget and rolling forecasts.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to communicate and present metrics effectively to support strategic recommendations
